On Thursday, August 14, 2025, in Brazzaville, the delegation from the National Federation of Financial Services Workers (FENATREF), led by its Secretary General, Euloge Mboussa, inaugurated the union branch office of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Congo (CSTC) at the Directorate General of the Budget (DGB) of the Ministry of Finance, Budget, and Public Portfolio.

During this ceremony, which took place in the presence of Jean Claude Iwanga, Director General of the Budget (representing the Administration), the Secretary General of FENATREF recalled that this branch office, whose Secretary General is Jean Mpoako, had been established on May 9, 2025, during an elective General Assembly.

This induction ceremony allowed the FENATREF delegation and the Director General of the Budget (DGB) to discuss the union section's list of demands. Among the demands contained in this document are improved working conditions; staff training; office equipment; and payment for the budget committees.

Following the ceremony, a tripartite commission was established, comprising representatives from the Administration (including the DGB), FENATREF, and the CSTC/DGB union section, to monitor the implementation of the demands outlined in this list with higher authorities.
