The Directorate General of National financial institutions (DGIFN) of the Ministry of Finance and Budget held, Wednesday, October 30, 2019, in Brazzaville, the Annual consultation meeting with the leaders of the microfinance sector in the Republic of Congo.
Friday 2 August 2019 in Brazzaville, Constant Badia, Director General of Nationales Financial Institutions (DGIFN), presided over the 4thannual consultation meeting of this departmentof the Ministry of Finance and Budget and the managersof 11 banks established in Congo.
The financing of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the situation of microfinance institutions were, inter alia, the items on the agenda of the first quarterly meeting of the National Credit Council of Congo, held on Monday 18 March 2019 in Brazzaville, under the auspices of Madame Minister of Planning, Statistics and Regional Integration, Ingrid Olga Ghislaine Ebouka-Babackas, representing her colleague of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo.
The cabinet director of the Ministry of Finance and Budget, Henri Loundou, officially launched the activities of a new Insurance company, called Africaine des Assurances Congo (AAC). The ceremony was held on Thursday 13 December 2018 in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo).

On June 29, 2018 at the town hall of Bacongo (2nd town hall of Brazzaville) , the director of production and development of ARC (Assurances et Reassurances du Congo), Aude Vaya, launched the outreach campaign, which is part of the nationwide double payment and search for claims covered by the company.
The general department of ARC (Assurance et Reassurances du Congo) is now paying for claims of all years across the country. The operation was launched on Monday, June 18, 2018 in Brazzaville by its general manager, Marc Gaston Akobo.

The general directorate of national financial institutions (GDNFI) and the Association professionelle des societes d'assurance du Congo(APSACO)- Professional Association of Insurance Companies of Congo, will launch the first campaign of sensitization on insurance and popularization of the CEMAC pink card from Tuesday 27 to Wednesday 28, 2018 in Pointe Noire, so as to especially change the opinion people and public administrations have on the insurance industry and enable the protection of persons, goods and human activities.
