Entrance exam to the International Insurance Institute

253 CANDIDATES FACE THE TESTS IN BRAZZAVILLE

The Professional Insurance Training Center (CPFA)-Congo, a decentralized unit of the International Insurance Institute whose headquarters is based in Yaoundé, Cameroon, hosted the competition from Monday July 17 to Tuesday July 18, 2023 in Brazzaville. international entry point for its 26th class in the Insurance Technician Diploma (DT-A) cycle. 253 candidates whose files were compliant took the tests at Sacré Coeur school.

The competition is organized by the General Directorate of National Financial Institutions of the Congolese Ministry of Economy and Finance. On the first day, the Frenchman opened the said tests, from 9 a.m., followed by General Culture. On July 18, the candidates had chosen Mathematics, Statistics and Probability Calculation, Economics, Law and Insurance Technique.

  As part of the practical instructions, candidates were required to bring their identity documents, including room access card, driving license or passport, during the examination. Cell phones and other programmable calculators were prohibited.

“I am a first year student at the Faculty of Economic Sciences. However, once admitted to the competition, I could undergo training which will lead me to a specific field, which is that of Insurance. Which will allow me to create my insurance business,” declared Samba, candidate.

These events are held simultaneously in Bangui (Central African Republic), Brazzaville (Republic of Congo), Malabo (Republic of Guinea) and N’Djamena (Republic of Chad).

Remember that this entrance exam to the Professional Insurance Training Center is held every two years. The training is free in Congo among the 14 member countries, declared Vladmir Ilitch Ebougnaka, Head of Center.
