Directorate General of National Financial Institutions (DGIFN)

NEGOTIATIONS RESUME BETWEEN THE STRIKERS AND THE ADMINISTRATION
26 Jul, 2023

Wednesday July 26, 2023, Jean Pierre Nonault, Director General of National Financial Institutions (DGIFN) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, received in his office, Elaut Bello Bellard, President of the Trade Union Confederation of Congolese Workers (CSTC) , for the reopening of negotiations between the two parties.

“From exchanges there always emerges a light understanding. The objective of this meeting is to ensure that negotiations resume as soon as possible. This situation has continued too long. We, the most representative union in this country, cannot accept that this social crisis gets any worse. We are waiting for the Director General to be able to take a Note, which will relaunch the negotiations, so that the situation calms down,” declared the President of the CSTC.

The CSTC union section at the DGIFN “is therefore ready to return to the negotiating table. She is waiting for the hierarchy to set by mail the date for the resumption of talks,” added, for his part, Christian Makaya, union representative of the striking workers.
