The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Anatole Collinet Makosso, officially launched, Monday December 4, 2023 in Brazzaville, the biometric enrollment operation of students for the allocation of the Unique Identification Number (NIU), in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technological Innovation, Madame Delphine Edith Emmanuel Adouki, some other members of the government and the National Coordinator of the NIU Project, Mr. Roger Aymar Andely.

“The campaign for biometric enrollment of students and allocation of the NIU card is launched at the Mpila Enrollment Center, located next to the Saint Denis stadium. It will continue in Pointe-Noire and in educational services at Congolese embassies abroad,” declared the Minister of Higher Education…

The Mpila Enrollment Center has 24 posts and has the capacity to enroll 1000 students per day. A timetable has been developed and posted for this purpose, to allow students from public and private universities to obtain their document within a short time. This campaign runs from Monday December 4, 2023 to Friday February 16, 2024.

“I am a non-scholarship student in the 2nd year of LMD in Geography. I have just registered to obtain the NIU card, which will allow me to update my academic file,” a candidate at the NIU told the press.
