2019 Roadmap - Calixte Nganongo gives new work guidelines to Directors General

Speaking to Directors General and Central Directors, the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, unveiled the roadmap of the Ministry and the administrations under tutelage for the year 2019. He presented it during a lively communication Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Congolese abroad, in Brazzaville.

On this occasion, Calixte Nganongo recalled that the year 2019 is the year of the acceleration of reforms of both the Ministry and the public finance. These reforms will inevitably lead to the updating of the legal framework of Directorates General, that is to say the new organizational charts adapted to the spirit of the said reforms.

This year will also be marked by the continuation of the modernization of the information system, with the interconnexion of financial institutions as central axis. 

Other orientations: the training of officials to adapt their profile to the requirements of the reform; the redeployment of the staff according to the quality and actual needs of Directorates General, in order to avoid the plethora currently observed; the juvenation of incumbents and automatic retirement of official who have reached retirement age.  

The Minister of Finance and Budget insisted on the promotion of a better organization of work in 2019, to avoid the freezing of files or the administrative slowness in the treatment of the files of the users. 

Calixte Nganongo finally urged his collaborators to funtional cohesion and synergy of work between them, on the one hand, and with the cabinet, on the other.
