03 May, 2019

Forty-four Congolese customs officers took part in the first selection test for the inspector training. The tests were launched, on Friday, May, 3 2019, at the World Customs Organisation (WCO) Regional Training Centre in Brazzaville, Congo, by Guénolé Mbongo Koumou, Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxes.

These tests took place simultaneously at the Belgian Audit School in Brussels (Belgium), at the National School of Administration in Ouagadougou (Burkina-Faso) and at the Customs School in Casablanca (Morocco).

The candidates worked on 3 subjects: Writing of a summary note, short answers questions in customs, and general knowledge on public finance.

“This test is part of the skill search. As you know, the Minister of Finance and Budget, during his tour in the financial departments in February 2019, called for the customs officers to be born again”, the Director General of Congolese Customs recalled to the candidates.

It should be noted that the Customs Inspectorate Training will be open to the first 5 who will have the average admission in this seclection test.
