8th Meeting of the Steering Committee (COPIL) - Computer applications SIGFIP and SYSPACE will be launched soon

The Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, presided over the 8thSteering Committee Meeting (COPIL) of the information system reform project on Thursday, December 28, 2018, in the conference room of the Ministry.

 

The work mainly focused on the production launch, that is to say, the test phase of the Public Finance Management Integrated System (SIGFIP), in its expenditures chain component, and the State Debt Payment Monitoring System (SYSPACE). Both applications will be tested from January 2019. Four pilot Ministries are selected to test the SIGFIP, namely: Finance and Budget; Energy and hydraulics; Interior and Decentralization; Construction, Urban planning and Housing.

 To hold the meeting of SIGFIP, Henri Loundou, Cabinet Director of the Ministry of Finance and Budget, instructed the Copil members to set up a restricted committee to draft the expenditures circuit specifying the treatment of the First in / First out (FIFO). This committee will be coordinated by the Director General of Budget Audit (DGCB). In addition, the Copil members were informed, on this occasion, of the inauguration of three new one-off customs clearance offices (GUD) in the Likouala division, particularly in Impfondo, Bétou and Mokabi.
