13 Aug, 2018

ARC is still conducting its awareness campaign  for the compensation of claims and the looking for uncompensated customers who suffered casualties. After the launching of its campaign at its head office, the town hall of Bacongo, in Pointe Noire and at Ouenze, ARC is going to start its campaign at the prefecture of Brazzaville in Moungali borough on Monday 13th, August, 2018 .

Around 40 casualties victims have already been identified. The general department of ARC  handed out cheques to a set of casualty victims, whose compensation will amount to 46 528 574  million CFA F. The handing out of cheques took place at a ceremony organized at the prefecture of Brazzaville.  Marc Gaston Akobo, general manager, was represented by  Judicaelle Mabika, director of claims and legal department. The Secretary General of the prefecture, Jean Claude Etoumbakoundou, and the Principal Private Secretary of the Prefect, Barthelemy  Okimi, also attended the ceremony.

The claims and  legal manager reminded the guests that ARC was still compensating its old and new customers. As regard old customers, Judicaelle Mabika confessed that the company found  it difficult to get in touch with customers who have not been compensated yet, by lack of  addresses and phone numbers. That is why she called on the non compensated missing customers to go to our branches in Brazzaville and Pointe Noire. The looking for  the customers concerned in various boroughs of Brazzaville is still underway" she said. So, she asked the public to welcome  the teams which will be sent across the city, so as to give them any useful information for their claim files.

Maixent Bikoueyi had a road accident in 2017 and received a cheque, the amount of which was not mentioned. " I had an accident in 2017 and  applied for compensation. ARC has compensated me one year after I introduced my application. I cannot but be relieved", as he expressed his satisfaction. Bernadette Niassengomona, representative of the deceased customers following  a road accident which occurred in October 2007, had lost hope. " But today I am surprised to be compensated after having waited for so many years. I am satisfied", she exclaimed.

Moreover, Manager Mabika reminded that a free phone number 7575 is available for the insured. Any person who will get in touch with us through that number, will have to give u the following information : date of accident, name of the insured and  the insured car plate number, if it is a road accident."

As a reminder, it was on June 18th, 2018  that Marc Gaston Akobo, general manager of ARC, launched the nationwide compensation campaign for claims and looking for customers who

suffered casualties. On that occasion,  he called upon the customers concerned who had  lost their files  to get in touch with ARC branches.
