Directorate General of Customs and Indirect Taxation – Two New Central Directors installed in their duties

The Director of cabinet of the Ministry of Finance and and Budget, Henri Loundou, installed in a tense atmosphere and under the supervision of the gendarmerie and police services, Aaron Kounenguika, chief customs inspector, to the position of Director of customs Investigations (replacing LauricLoembé) and Serge Victor Ignoumba, chief customs inspector, to the position of senior customs inspector as Director of Regulation and Litigation (replacing M. Makita).

 

The ceremony took place, Thursday, Octobre 18, 2018, before the bailiff and the advisers of the Ministry of Finance and Budget“On behalf of the Ministry of Finance and Budget, I install you in your duties, in accordance with the memorandum…”said Henri Loundou. The two officers of the Directorate General of Customs and Indirect Taxation were appointed by Memorandum N0.0636/MFB-CAB, of October 16, 2018, signed by the Ministry of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo.

I am a senior Customs officer. Everyone knows me in this Administration. We are paramilitaries, and ready to answer the call as soon as problems arise. That is why the Minister trusted us. We will work in perfect harmony and responsiblity with our Director General, Jean Alfred Onanga”, said Serge Victor Ignoumba. Despite the tense atmosphere that marked his installation, because of the protest of trade unionists who shunned their appointment, the new Directors remain serene for the future: “I am not afraid to work here, because I will not be alone to meet the challenges 

 

of the current financial crisis”, Serge Victor Ignoumba told reporters.
