Receiving the new Central Tax Directors, during an orientation exchange organized in his office, Thursday, August 20, 2020, the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, assisted by his colleague in charge of the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, instructed his interlocutors to become new inspectors.

Minister Nganongo insisted on a break with the anti-values of the past, so that the tax sector would produce the expected non-oil revenues in the state budget. "I want new inspectors. Beware of anyone who will not be up to the task, warned the Minister. I will soon replace him with those who are waiting for the job," he announced.

For Minister Delegate Ludovic Ngatsé, the Government is preparing the conditions to achieve the expected performance of the tax sector, by addressing the three main problems, namely: improving the working environment of staff (buildings and modern equipment), improving the conditions of mobility of workers (by providing transport vehicles, especially within the country) and staff training (by developing a training plan by service).

In response to these guidelines, the new Central Directors have undertaken, before the two Ministers and their Director General, to put them into practice, aware of the sensitivity of their tasks and responsibilities.
