Handover and installation of Advisors to the Minister of Economy and Finance

TWELVE EXECUTIVES COMMIT TO GIVING THE BEST OF THEMSELVES TO MEET THE MINISTRY’S CHALLENGES!

During October 2023, twelve Congolese executives including ten men and two women were inducted by the Inspector General of Finance (IGF), into the various positions of Advisor to the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Jean-Baptiste Ondaye. The latter who appointed them in September, on the basis of their files compiled following a call for applications.

 

“By virtue of the powers conferred on me by the Minister of the Economy and Finance, I am placing you in your service chair,” declared to each and every Advisor, the Inspector General of Finance, Mr. Darel Gildas Ngouala. Adding that “the Minister of Economy and Finance knows how to count on your know-how, your expertise, your competence and your sense of responsibility to achieve the objectives assigned to him in government, including the great challenge of mobilize more public revenue, in order to finance the National Development Program (PND) 2022-2026”. This Program is none other than the emanation of the Society Project, on the basis of which the President of the Republic, His Excellency Denis Sassou-N'Guesso, was elected, entitled: “Together, let's continue the march” (2021- 2026).

By willingly accepting this role as immediate collaborators of Minister Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, the twelve Councilors first expressed their gratitude to the latter, for the trust placed in each of them. Then, they said they were committed to supporting the Minister of Economy and Finance in achieving the objectives assigned to him.

“We are and will be very dedicated in our task, and ready, for Minister Jean-Baptiste Ondaye to accomplish his sovereign missions,” they affirmed.

The twelve installed Advisors are:

  1. Advisor to Taxation and Customs, Mr. Romain Clotaire AMPAT;
  2. Advisor for Treasury management and monitoring, Mr. Gatien ONDAYE OBILI;
  3. Advisor on debt and monitoring of State financial commitments, Mr. Jildas NGONKOUA ABOULI;
  4. Advisor in charge of mission, M. Euloge Guy Patrick EVOUNDOU; 
  5. Advisor in charge of mission, M. David-Martin OBAMI;
  6. Advisor-Responsible for logistics and stewardship, Ms. Mandzondzo née Chantal Julie Ollandet;
  7. Public Relations and Communications Advisor, Mr. Jean-Béal AKOUNDZE;
  8. Advisor for monetary and financial cooperation at the regional and sub-regional level, Mr. Antoine NKODIA;
  9. Advisor to service and portfolio revenue, Mr. Aimé Klébert SINGHA;
  10. Natural Resources Advisor, Mr. Serge Marie-Aimé NDEKO;
  11. Advisor for relations with technical and financial partners, Ms. Bertille Ida Chantal MAPOUATA;
  12. Administrative and legal advisor, Mr. Audrey Alban MAPITHY-MA-MAPITHY.

It should be noted that three positions of Councilors remain to be filled, these are the Councilors responsible respectively for the economy; institutions and financial engineering; monitoring development projects and programs.
