His Excellency Eugene Young, Ambassador of the United States of America in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo), met for the first time with Christian Yoka, Congolese Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio. The audience, which was granted to him, in his Office, focused on learning about the priorities of the Head of the Department of Finance.

Approached by the press, the American diplomat declared that the purpose of his visit was to inquire about "the priorities of the Minister, as well as his vision for the future of Congo's public finances. Priorities to share with the American government, under the leadership of President Donald Trump".

Eugene Young added that the conversation also focused on improving the business climate in Congo, and the current situation of public finances in this country.
