Opening of the proceedings of the Joint Administrative Committee of the general department of budgetary control - 600 civil servants career management files to be examined this year 2018

On Tuesday, July 31st, 2018, the ad interim Chief executive officer of the civil service and chairperson of the Committee, Josephine Boumandouki-Olingou Pourou, opened the proceedings of the said committee for 2018.
The members of the Committee are going to examine 600 civil servants career management files. The Committee is under the general department of budgetary control. It is notably about promotions, file upgrade and review of administrative cases.
For five years, the Committee did not hold any meeting due to the economic and financial crisis that the Republic of the Congo is experiencing. "The members of the committee will have to work hard as they have much work to do, so that we can meet the expectations of the civil servants", said the chairperson of the Committee.
Section 2 of the order in council nº 2012 -713, June 12th, 2012, provides that the Committee's task is to examine the issues related to the civil servants' career issues, working conditions, hygiene and social stability.
