UNHACO, CFCM and FAA-KI-Congo contribute for 11 million FCFA to the National Solidarity Fund

The National Solidarity Fund for the fight against the Coronavirus was replenished with 11 million 400,000 CFA francs, the only day of Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance and Budget, in Brazzaville.
 

This amount is a contribution of three legal persons, namely: the Union Nationale des Associations des Personnes Handicapées du Congo (National Union Association of Persons living with disabilities) (UNHACO), led by its president, Jean de Dieu Goma, who contributed 400,000 CFA francs; the Caisse Féminine d'Épargne et de Crédit Mutuel (Savings and Mutual Credit Women’s Fund) (CFCM), represented by its Managing Director, Eulalie Sianard, whose participation amounts to 1 million FCFA; and the FAAKI-Congo Group, specialized in the distribution of butane gas since 1988, which paid 10 million FCFA.

 

Receiving these donations in cash on behalf of the Government, the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, thanked all donors for their support in the fight against COVID-19. He was sensitive to the contribution of the civil society platform called UNHACO and invited the other actors to do same.
