His impressions in the aftermath of his appointment

“I thank the President of the Republic, Denis Sassou-N’Guesso, and his Prime Minister, Head of Government, Clément Mouamba, for having chosen my modest person. You know, this is a special time, in the sense that that Congo is in negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). On the one hand, Congo signed with this institution a Programme which is in progress. On the other hand, the Minister of Finance has undertaken many reforms to modernise public finance management and promote good governance.

I am therefore very proud to have been the one who was chosen to work with the Minister of Finance, so that all these projects and the Programme with the IMF will succeed. I stayed 16 years, Managing Director of ERNST& YOUNG- Congo, which I managed with the results you know.

he told the press: “I think I have experienced the functioning of State enterprises, so that tomorrow I will be useful to the President of the Republic, the Minister of Finance and the Government, so that everything they have undertaken can, of course, succeed, with the input of everyone. Personally, I will work hard to ensure that all the projects find their successful outcome”.
