The Head of the Department of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, Christian Yoka, visited the building under construction on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Brazzaville, to house the new headquarters of the Ministry for which he is responsible.

This tour was led by architect Eugène Emmanuel Okoko, accompanied by Thedy Engona, Head of Department-Major Works Representative.

This 9-story building, whose construction is being carried out by the Overseas Engineering Company of the Beijing Residential Construction Group, is located within the grounds of the current Ministry headquarters.

The Minister visited the first two levels and the basement. The first level houses the data center and centralized air conditioning, while the second floor will house the electronic archives. According to architect Okoko, each of the nine floors is equipped with a large meeting room and offices.

Regarding the electrical power supply, the new headquarters is equipped with a block of regulated generators installed outside the building.

Construction on the new Ministry of Finance building, which began in 2013, is expected to be completed before March 2026, according to the builder's estimates.
