The Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, launched, Monday 4 February 2019, in Brazzaville, the commissioning of the platform called State Debt Payment Tracking System (SYSPACE), in its oil component, in the presence of his colleague Minister of Hydrocarbons, Jean Marc Thystère Tchicaya. 

Received in audience, Friday 1February 2019, by the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, the UE Ambassador to Congo, Raul Mateus Paula,  announced that his institution intends to support the Government of Congo in its negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The World Customs Organization (WCO) celebrates each year, the International Customs Day. “Smart’’ borders for seamless Trade, Travel and Transport " is the theme chosen by the international community to celebrate this day, Saturday, January, 2019.

The activities of three single points of goods clearance (GUD) and three branches of Congo postal bank (BPC) were officially launched, on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 January 2019, at Impfondo, Mokabi and Bétou, in the Likouala division, by Henri Loundou, cabinet director, representing Calixte Nganongo, Minister of Finance and Budget. 

The official launch ceremony of the agency of Congo Postal Bank (BPC) to ensure the safety and transparency of CHU-B revenues, was presided over, on Wednesday, January 11, 2019 in Brazzaville, by Florent Balandamio, cabinet director of madame the minister of Health and Population.

Speaking to Directors General and Central Directors, the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, unveiled the roadmap of the Ministry and the administrations under tutelage for the year 2019. He presented it during a lively communication Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Congolese abroad, in Brazzaville.

The Moore Stephens IFI firm, EITI-Congo independent administrator, represented by Elyes Kooli, is working to prepare the Reports covering the 2016 and 2017 periods. The first results of reconciliation were presented on Monday, January 7, 2019, in the meeting room of EITI-Congo, in front of the members of the Executive committee.  

The new directors general of Customs and Indirect Taxation (DGDDI), Guénolé Mbongo Koumou, and of Taxes and State property, Ludovic Itoua, were installed in their functions, Friday, January 4, 2019, by Henri Loundou, cabinet director, representing Calixte Nganongo, Ministry of Finance.
