Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, Minister of Economy and Finance, officially launched on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the headquarters of the said Ministry, the work for the realization of three economic studies. In the presence of Mrs. Korotoumou Ouattara, Representative-Resident of the World Bank (WB); Nicolas Million, Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Opia Mensah Kumah, Representative-Resident of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP); Franck Mondesir Mbouayila Tsassa, Director General of the Economy and several other guests.

Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, Minister of Economy and Finance, presided over a working session on Saturday, December 3, 2022 in Brazzaville, with the Directors General of tax and financial Directorates , namely, the Tax and State Property; Customs and Indirect Rights; the Public Treasury; and the Congolese Sinking Fund.

Under the chairmanship of Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, Minister of Economy and Finance, assisted by Ludovic Ngatsé, Minister of Budget, Public Accounts and Public Portfolio, the National Economic and Financial Committee met for the third quarter, Tuesday 29 December 2022 at the headquarters of the National Directorate of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC), in person in Brazzaville (Congo), and by videoconference in Yaoundé (Cameroon) with Abbas Mahamat-Tolli, Governor of the BEAC. At the national level, the Committee noted a recovery in economic activity in 2022, based on the projections of the national authorities, i.e. a real GDP growth rate of 2.8% compared with a recession of 1.4% in 2021.

On Saturday, November 26, 2022, that is to say two months to the day, after taking office on Tuesday, September 27, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, made a communication to the executives of the structures and institutions under his supervision. The ceremony took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Congolese Abroad, in Brazzaville. 

Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, Minister of Economy and Finance, chaired the session of the National Committee for the implementation of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI)-Congo, on Friday 18 November 2022 in Brazzaville. 

A presentation ceremony of the extension of the Project of digitization of the operations of the technical control centers of motor vehicles (PDOCT) was sponsored, Monday November 14, 2022 in Brazzaville, by Jean Pierre Nonault, Director General of the national financial institutions (DGIFN), representing Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, Minister of Economy and Finance. In the presence of Fidèle Yengo, Land Transport Advisor to Honoré Sayi, Minister of Transport, Civil Aviation and the Merchant Navy, and Girest Sadate Manzékélé-Bokenga, Director General of Land Transport (DGTT). 

On Thursday, November 11, 2022 in the meeting room of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in Brazzaville, was held the 2^nd session, for the current year, of the National Investment Commission (CNI). The Director of Cabinet, Athanase Ngassakys, opened the session on behalf of Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, the Responsible Minister and President of the Commission.

On Wednesday 3 November 2022 in Brazzaville, the Congolese Minister of Economy and Finance, Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, Chairman of the Coordination Committee on National Policies against Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, opened the inaugural session of the said Committee.

Thursday, October 20, 2022, the Director General of National Financial Institutions (DGIFN) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Jean Pierre Nonault, had a meeting with the President of the National Union of Economic Operators of Congo (UNOC), Jean Daniel Ovaga.

From Monday 10 to Wednesday 19 October 2022, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) are holding their Annual General Meetings in Washington, the federal capital of the United States. The Republic of Congo is represented by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Jean-Baptiste ONDAYE.
