During October 2023, twelve Congolese executives including ten men and two women were inducted by the Inspector General of Finance (IGF), into the various positions of Advisor to the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Jean-Baptiste Ondaye. Opening of the CEMAC International Investor Week (SIIC) in Brazzaville

Brazzaville, capital of the Republic of Congo, is hosting, for the first time, the CEMAC (Central African Economic and Monetary Community-SIIC) International Investor Week. According to the press release, on the economic and financial situation of the member states of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) in 2023 and the short-term outlook, the situation of foreign exchange reserves and the update on repatriation currencies, it appears that “in a context of slowdown in global economic activity and persistence of inflationary pressures, the Board of Directors has taken note of the risks weighing on the economic prospects of CEMAC. Financial inclusion

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Jean-Baptiste Ondaye, inaugurated the BSCA-Bank branch in Poto Poto (3rd district of Brazzaville) on Friday September 22, 2023. In the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Bank of China, Gu Shu, and the General Director of BSCA-Bank (Banque Sino Congolaise pour l'Afrique), Wang Shenghong. This ceremony was marked by the unveiling of the inaugural plaque and the cutting of the symbolic ribbon. The construction of this building cost 987 million FCFA, for all the work, and provides support to the City Center agency.
