The 9th session of the members of the Permanent Consultation Framework for Public Treasurys of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CPC-TP-CEMAC) was opened, Wednesday March 6, 2024 in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo), by Mr. Gatien ONDAYE OBILI, President of this community body, and Advisor for monitoring and cash management to the Congolese Minister of Economy and Finance. 

Tuesday March 5, 2024 in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo), Mr. Jean-Baptiste ONDAYE, Congolese Minister of Economy and Finance, President of the Steering Committee of the Economic and Financial Reforms Program of the Economic and Monetary Community of Africa Centrale (PREF-CEMAC), indicated five points of reflection to the participants of the 8th meeting of the Technical Committee for monitoring the mobilization of financing and the implementation of the 13 priority integrative projects (PIP) of the 2nd cycle. These Projects were presented at the Paris Round Table on November 28 and 29, 2023.

Friday February 23, 2024 in Brazzaville, the Congolese government (represented by Messrs. Jean-Baptiste ONDAYE, Minister of Economy and Finance, and Antoine Nicéphore Thomas FYLLA SAINT-EUDES, Minister of Industrial Development and Promotion of the Private Sector) and the Indian government (represented by its Ambassador to Congo, His Excellency Mr. Madan-Lal RAIGAR) took stock of the implementation of the three projects financed in Congo on loan from EXIM-BANK INDIA. The work was attended by the General Director of this bank, Mr. Dipar KUJUR.

Friday January 26, 2024, in his office, in Brazzaville, Mr. Jean-Baptiste ONDAYE, Congolese Minister of Economy and Finance, chaired the presentation session of the Rainwater Drainage Project of the Congolese capital, in its phase 2 Tsiémé River. In the presence of Messrs. Mauricio Cascioli, Director of the French Development Agency (AFD)/Congo, and Zacharie MOKIEMO, Chief of Staff of the Congolese Minister of Land Planning, Infrastructure and Road Maintenance.

Thursday January 25, 2024, at the Grand Hôtel de Kintélé (north of Brazzaville), Mr. Jean-Baptiste ONDAYE, Congolese Minister of Economy and Finance, opened the work of the first edition of Africa Finance Banking & Digitalization Summit ( AFBDS) or African Summit of finance, banking and digitalization in the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC), in the presence, in particular of some members of the Government and those of the diplomatic corps, leaders of institutions sub-regional communities (BEAC, BDEAC, COBAC), representatives of technical and financial partners, as well as general managers of banks.

Monday January 15, 2024, in the meeting room of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in Brazzaville, the head of this department, Mr. Jean-Baptiste ONDAYE, had the first official contact meeting with his appointed Advisors , a few weeks ago, according to the requirements and rigor of Results-Based Management (RBM).

The Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Congo, Mr. Jean-Baptiste ONDAYE, the Ambassador of France to Congo, Mrs. Claire BODONYI and the Deputy Director of the French Development Agency (AFD) in Brazzaville, Madame Marie DUBUFFET, signed, Tuesday January 9, 2024 in the Congolese capital, the financing agreement for the Project to strengthen the training-employment adequacy, called in Lingala “Mosala” (“Work”), for the benefit of young Congolese.

The last ordinary session-2023 of the Executive Committee of the EITI-Congo National Committee was held, Friday December 29 and Saturday December 30, in Brazzaville, under the chairmanship of the Congolese Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Jean -Baptiste ONDAYE. At the end of the work, the participants validated and adopted the 2021 Report, which was on the agenda.
