The 7th Regional Workshop for Training and Human Resources Managers (HR) of customs administrations of the member countries of the West and Central African Region of the World Customs Organization (WCO) ended on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Regional Training Center (RTC) in Brazzaville, Republic of  the Congo.

From Monday 25th to Wednesday 27th  September, 2017, the Republic of the Congo will host the 7th workshop of the World Customs Organization (WCO) Working Group  on Human Resources Management and Training for the West and Central African region.

On Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in Ouesso, the adminitrative city of the department of Sangha, the Private Secretary of the Minister of finance, budget and public portfolio, Emmanuel Akouala-Mpan, officially opened the one stop office for customs clearance of goods in the presence of the prefect Jean Christophe Tchikaya who cut the symbolic ribbon.

For four days, from Tuesday 2^nd to Friday 5, 2017 27 customs officers learned new techniques of trade facilitation at a seminar on risk analysis held at the Regional Training Center (RTC) of the WCO (World Customs Orgnization) in Brazzaville (targeting and selection).

Congo already demonstrates its willingness to adhere to the revised Kyoto Convention for the simplification and harmonization of Customs procedures.

In order to understand the working conditions of services under his command and after about four months at the helm of the Ministry of finance, budget and public portfolio, Calixte Nganongo, accompanied by members of his cabinet, on Thursday 1 September visited the Directorate of Customs and Indirect taxes in Brazzaville. This came after a similar visit some weeks ago to the Directorate General of Public Treasury.
