
After his tour of the departmental customs and indirect tax directorates, Finance Minister Christian YOKA continued his field visits with a visit to the Single Window for Cross-Border Operations (GUOT).

On Friday, July 4, 2025, the Minister of Finance, Budget, and Public Portfolio, Christian YOKA, began his working visit to Pointe-Noire with the Departmental Directorates of Customs and Indirect Taxes in Pointe-Noire and Kouilou.

The Head of the Department of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, Christian Yoka, visited the building under construction on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Brazzaville, to house the new headquarters of the Ministry for which he is responsible.

On Friday, July 11, 2025, in Brazzaville, Anatole Collinet Makosso, Prime Minister and Head of Government, hosted the ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the Sino-Congolese Bank for Africa (BSCA.Bank). He was joined by, among other dignitaries, the Monetary Authority of Congo, Christian Yoka; the Chinese Ambassador to Congo, An Qing; the Managing Director of the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC), Zhiheng Wang; and the Chairman of the Board of Directors (Chairman) of BSCA.BANK, Rigobert Roger Andely.

On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in Brazzaville, Christian Yoka, Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, Monetary Authority, paid a working visit to the General Management of the Banque Postale du Congo (PBC).

On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in Brazzaville, the National Assembly adopted, in plenary session, two bills proposed by the Government, represented by Minister of Finance, Budget, and Public Portfolio Christian Yoka.

The 27th session of the Steering Committee of the International Monetary Fund's Capacity Development Center for Central Africa (AFRITAC Central or AFC), which opened in hybrid mode on Tuesday, June 17, closed on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo.

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo), the Minister of Economy, Planning, and Regional Integration, Ludovic Ngatsé, representing his colleague Christian Yoka, Minister of Finance, Budget, and Public Portfolio, and current Chair of the AFRITAC Central Steering Committee, opened the 27th meeting of the Committee. The ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including Philippe Egoumé, Director of this technical assistance arm of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).


On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in Brazzaville, the Commission responsible for supporting the Human Resources Directorate (HRD) in collecting needs from future users of an Integrated Human Resources Management System (HRMIS) of the Ministry of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio (MFBPP) held its second session in the meeting room of the Ministry. Led by Jean-Marie Montsagna, Director of Human Resources and Coordinator of the Commission, this meeting allowed members to first clarify the challenges of the reform, which aims to provide the Ministry with a centralized, modern, and efficient IT system, enabling optimized human resources management, transparency, traceability, and the integration of HR processes. The meeting then allowed them to discuss the collection of needs from future users of the integrated system and to define the next steps to ensure its implementation.
