Four experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Technical Assistance Mission to Central Africa (AFRITAC CENTRE), who have been in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo) since Monday, September 8, 2025, led a training workshop on identifying, analyzing, and communicating budgetary risks related to public enterprises and debt. The workshop was opened by Paul Malié, Chief of Staff to Christian Yoka, Minister of Finance, Budget, and Public Portfolio.

On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the Kintélé International Conference Center (northern suburb of Brazzaville), Christian Yoka, Minister of Finance, Budget, and Public Portfolio, launched the workshop for validating the general accounting standards framework applicable to the public administration sector.

On Friday, September 12, 2025, Christian Yoka, Minister of Finance, Budget, and Public Portfolio, closed the proceedings of the 3rd Annual Symposium of the Professional Association of Credit Institutions of Congo (APEC)-Congo, which was held under the theme “The Congolese Banking System Facing the Challenges of Today and Tomorrow.”

The closing ceremony of the 8th Annual International Colloquium on Taxation (CIF), held from September 9 to 12, 2025, in Kintélé-Brazzaville (Republic of Congo), was held under the patronage of the Congolese Minister of Finance, Budget, and Public Portfolio, Christian Yoka, representing the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Anatole Collinet Makosso. The conference's theme was: "Role and Place of National Tax Law: The Challenges of Revenue Mobilization and Sustainability."

Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of Congo, is hosting the 3rd Colloquium of the Professional Association of Credit Institutions (APEC)-Congo from Thursday, September 11 to Friday, September 12, 2025. The theme of the colloquium is "The Congolese banking system facing the challenges of today and tomorrow." The ceremony was opened by Léon Juste Ibombo, Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and the Digital Economy, in the presence of, among others, Michel Dzombala, Vice-Governor of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC). Calixte Tabangoli, President of APEC-Congo and Director General of the Postal Bank of Congo (BPC); and Serge Dino Daniel Gassackys, National Director of the BEAC (Bank of Central African States).

On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, the second day of the symposium, the round table theme was subdivided into two sub-themes: "Revenue Mobilization from Mineral Resources" and "Revenue Mobilization from Petroleum Resources."

On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the Grand Hotel of Kintélé, located in the municipality of Kintélé, a suburb of Brazzaville (Republic of Congo), hosted the 8th Annual International Symposium on Taxation for four days. Under the theme: "Role and Place of National Tax Law: The Challenges of Revenue Mobilization and Sustainability," this meeting was opened by Paul Valentin Ngobo, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries, representing Anatole Collinet Makosso, Prime Minister and Head of the Congolese Government.

On Monday, September 8, 2025, in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo), the Organizing Committee of the 8th International Symposium on Taxation announced to the press that the official opening of the event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the Grand Hotel de Kintélé. Held under the high patronage of the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Anatole Collinet Makosso, this four-day conference will focus on the theme: "Role and Place of National Tax Law: The Challenges of Revenue Mobilization and Sustainability."

The budget conferences of the ministries and institutions of the Republic of Congo, initiated by Christian Yoka, Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, are being held in Brazzaville from Tuesday, August 26 to Monday, September 8, 2025. They are chaired by Paul Malié, Chief of Staff, assisted by Sylvain Lékaka, Chief of Staff to Ludovic Ngatsé, Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Integration, and Jean-Claude Iwanga, Director General of the Budget (DGB). These budget conferences aim to prepare the State Budget and Finance Law for the 2026 fiscal year.

On Thursday, August 14, 2025, in Brazzaville, the delegation from the National Federation of Financial Services Workers (FENATREF), led by its Secretary General, Euloge Mboussa, inaugurated the union branch office of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Congo (CSTC) at the Directorate General of the Budget (DGB) of the Ministry of Finance, Budget, and Public Portfolio.
