
The New Director General of Insurance and Reinsurance of Congo (ARC), Serge William Landry Massembo Doumou, was installed in his command chair on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at the headquarters of this company governed by the CIMA Code in Brazzaville. The ceremony was held under the auspices of Bernard Ngazo, Advisor to the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, on National Financial Institutions and Currency, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Antoine Régis Ngakegni, and the outgoing CEO, Marc Gaston Akobo.

As part of the implementation of the G-20 Debt Service Suspension Initiative (ISSD) of April 2020, Calixte Nganongo, Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, and Mâ Fulin, Ambassador of the China People's Republic, signed an Agreement to cancel part of Congo's debt. This cancellation mainly concerns two interest-free loans due in December 2020, worth 7.8 billion F CFA.
On Monday 10 February 2021 in Brazzaville, Calixte Nganongo, Minister of Finance and Budget, launched the Single Payment Window, after the presentation and technical demonstration made by Guy Noël Londongo, Director of Information Systems (DSI) of the Ministry. The ceremony was attended by Calixte Médard Tabangoli, Managing Director of the Postal Bank of Congo (BPC), partner of the Unique Payment Window (GUD).
