
From Thursday1 to Friday 2, March, 2018, Treasury senior executives attended a workshop at Ecole superieure africaine des cadres du chemin de fer (Railway executives training school) of Brazzaville under the chairmanship of the executive director of public accounting, Henri Loundou. The items on the agenda were the review and the adoption of the reform documents drafted by the Ministry of Finance and Budget.

The conference was held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in Brazzaville by the Minister of Finance and Budget, honourable Calixte Nganongo. Congolese executives and three experts from the Rwandan Ministry of Finance and Planning also attended the conference.The experts made presentations on many themes.

The campaign of sensitization on insurance and CEMAC pink card was launched from 27-28 February, 2018 in Pointe -Noire. During the proceedings, the participants reviewed seven items and adopted 7 resolutions so as to make insurance a tool for develop-ment.

The 2015 report on the Initiative for the transparency of extractive industries (ITEI)-Congo was published on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Brazzaville by Florent Michel Okoko, Chairman of the executive committee. The 16 pages document was drafted in December 2017 by Finergies, a French office, which had been selected as an independent administrator. It contains information on the state revenues from three sectors in which 134 companies are involved : hydrocarbons, mines and forests.

The General Manager of Banque Populaire Caisse d'Epargne Internationale (BPCEI), Jean Pierre Levayer, a national of France, made the announcement on Friday, February 2, 2018 in Brazzaville following the talk he had with the Minister of Finance and Budget, honourable Calixte Nganongo.
