
Opened by Ludovic Itoua, Director General of Taxation and State Property, in the presence of Reforms and Public Accounts Adviser to the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, Wilfrid Ngoma Mboukou, and the Director of Information Systems, Guy Noël Londongo; the workshop on the use of the new NIU was held on Friday, August 21, 2020, in a conference room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Brazzaville. The presentation on the use of the UIN platform was given by the UIN project head, the Engineer Colonel of Police, Henri Jacques Kiénaka.

Receiving the new Central Tax Directors, during an orientation exchange organized in his office, Thursday, August 20, 2020, the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, assisted by his colleague in charge of the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, instructed his interlocutors to become new inspectors.

The ceremony for the handing over of instructions between the 9 incoming and outgoing Central Directors of Taxation (out of the 10 appointed by Prime Minister's Decree No. 2020-267 of August 7, 2020) took place on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Taxation and State Property, and at the Large Enterprises Unit, in Brazzaville, under the chairmanship of Hermann Rodney Gouellet, Tax and Customs Adviser to the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo.

The Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, officially launched, on Monday 17 August 2020 in Brazzaville, the full operation of SIGFIP. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Chairman of the Public Finance Reform Committee, Henri Loundou, his Chief of Staff.

On Monday, 10 August 2020 in Brazzaville, the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, cut the symbolic ribbon marking the inauguration of the cell of the new Unique Identification Number (NIU). In the presence of two members of the Government: Yvonne Adélaïde Mougany, Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Handicrafts and the Informal Sector, and Ludovic Ngatsé, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget.

The Director of Information Systems (DSI) of the Ministry of Finance and Budget, Guy Noël Londongo opened, Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in the economic capital, the training workshop, simultaneous managers of the Large Enterprises Unit (EMU) and the sensitization workshop for taxpayers registered in this unit.

The second ordinary meeting of the National Economic and Financial Committee (CNEF) of the Republic of Congo was held on Tuesday 21 July 2020 in Brazzaville, by videoconference.

On Monday 20 July 2020 in Brazzaville, the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, having at his side his counterpart Delegate for the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, opened the work on the project of recasting the General Tax Code and drafting the Book of Tax Procedures.

On Wednesday 8 July 2020, in the conference room of the Ministry of Finance and Budget in Brazzaville, the Ambassador of France to Congo, François Barateau; the Director of the French Development Agency (AFD), Lionel Cafferini, and the Congolese Government represented by the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, signed two grant agreements for a total amount of 7.35 million euros (i.e. 4.8 billion CFA francs).
The Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, officially launched, Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Customs and Indirect Duty (DGDDI) in Brazzaville, the activities of the platform "Tracking", called "Ekengué" or electronic monitoring and surveillance of goods in transit.
