Ordinary general meeting of the Bank of the Central African States (BDEAC) - The participants adopt the 2017-2022 strategic plan to back up the economic diversification of states.

The 2017-2022 strategic plan was one of the items on the agenda of the ordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the Development Bank of the Central African States (BDEAC), which took place on July 24, 2017 in Brazzaville(Congo) under the aegis of the Equatorial Guinean minister of finance and budget, honourable Miguel Engonga-Obiang Eyang. His counterparts of CEMAC, honourable Calixte Nganongo, minister of finance, budget and public portfolio of the host country and honourable Christian Georges Diguimbaye, minister of finance and budget and finance of Chad also attended the meeting.

Cooperation between Congo and the World Bank - Signing of two funding agreements of PFDE and PRISP projects for a good financial management

On June 23, 2017 two funding agreements were signed in the conference room of the Ministry of Finance in Brazzaville between honourable Calixte Nganongo, Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio and Mr. Djibrilla Issa, representative of the World Bank in the presence of honourable Ingrid Olga Ebouka-Babackas, Minister of Planning, Statistics and Integration, for the purpose of improving financial management in Congo.

Cooperation between France and Congo

The third meeting of the of the Piloting and monitoring Committee for the undebtedness and develop-ment Agreement reviews the progres made in the carrying out of the projects.

On June 9, 2017, in Room 315 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Brazzaville, Honourable Calixte Nganongo, the Congolese Ministry of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio chaired the third meeting of the Piloting and monitoring Committee (PMC) for the undebtedness and developpement Agreement (C2D) entered into 2010 between France and Congo.

The Minister of Finance announces that the payment of the Congolese economic operators' debt is for «soon»

On May 31, 2017, the Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, honourable Calixte Nganongo, met with the members of the economic operators of Congo (COPECO), led by its chairman, Paul Nestor Mouandzibi Ndinga. He was with Mr. Jean Paul Matsima, vice -president of the Union nationale des operateurs congolais (UNOC)- Congolese economic operators Union, one of the employer organizations of the country with 400 companies.

The new Chairman of BDEAC takes office in Brazzaville

Fortunato Ofa Mbo Nchama , the new chairman of the Development Bank of Central African States (BDEAC), a national of Equatorial Guinea, was sworn into office on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Brazzaville by the General Assembly of the shareholders of the company.

 

The ceremony was chaired by honourable Miguel Engonga Obiang Eyang, Minister of Finance and Budget of Equatorial Guinea, Chairman of the General Assembly of BDEAC, in the presence of his counterpart honourable Calixte Nganongo.
