
Chaired by Calixte Nganongo, Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, represented by his colleague Ludovic Ngatsé, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, the meeting of Ministers of the Economy, Finance, Budget and Integration, on the operationalization of the Compensation, Cooperation and Development Fund of the Economic Community of Central African States (FCCD-AC) took place on Wednesday 5 May 2021 by videoconference in Brazzaville, the capital of Congo, which holds the incumbent presidency of the ECCAS.

The Committee of Experts of the Member States of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) met on Friday 30 April 2021 in a workshop, by videoconference from Brazzaville (Congo), under the chairmanship of Bernard Ngazo, President of the Bureau. The review of the draft project of the operationalization of the Compensation, Cooperation and Development Fund for Central Africa (FCCD-AC) was on the agenda.

On Thursday 29 April 2021 in Brazzaville, the Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, and his counterpart in charge of Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, received, in audience, the farewell visit of the UNICEF Representative in Congo, the Mozambican Micaela Marques de Sousa.

The Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, accompanied by his colleague in charge of Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, and the French Minister Delegate to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, in charge of Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, Franck Riester, signed, on Friday 16 April 2021 in Brazzaville, an amendment to the Agreement, extending the period of suspension of the Congolese debt service to France until 30 June 2021.

The 13th ordinary meeting of the Steering Committee (COPIL) of the Economic and Financial Reform Program of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (PREF-CEMAC) was held by videoconference on Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Brazzaville. Under the auspices of its Chairman, Gilbert Ondongo, Congolese Minister of State in charge of Economy, Industry and Public portfolio. He was assisted by Ludovic Ngatsé, Congolese Minister in charge of Budget. Five integrating projects will start in 2021.

On Monday, April 12, 2021 in Brazzaville, Calixte Nganongo, Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, received in audience, in his capacity as incumbent President of the Inter-African Conference on Insurance Markets (CIMA), Blaise Abel Ezo'o Engolo, new Secretary General (SG) of CIMA.

Rodney Hermann Gouellet, Adviser to the Minister of Finance and Budget Calixte Nganongo, held a press briefing at the headquarters of this administration, Thursday, April 8, 2021 in Brazzaville.

The handover between the outgoing Director of Information Systems (DSI), Rodney Hermann Gouellet, Tax and Customs Adviser, and the incoming interim DSI, Fiacre Maximin Mbou, took place on Thursday 8 April 2021 in Brazzaville, under the supervision of Henri Loundou, Director of Cabinet of the Minister of Finance and Budget. The newly promoted CIO promised to shine by doing a good job.

One week after his appointment, the new Director General of the Agency for the Regulation of Remittances (ARTF), Dominique Ursel Tsono Ndzalé, was installed on Wednesday 7 April 2021 by Henri Loundou, Director of Cabinet of the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo. He replaces Philippe Ngoma, outgoing DGI and current Director of Inspection, Statistics and Studies.
