
The Prime Minister, Clément Mouamba, accompanied by the Ministers Ludovic Ngatsé (in charge of the Budget) and Lydia Mikolo (of Health) visited, on Wednesday 30 December 2020, the new latest-generation equipment put into operation at the Brazzaville University Teaching Hospital Centre (CHU).

The members of the Steering Committee (COPIL) of the Information System Reform Project of the Ministry of Finance and Budget met on Tuesday 29 December 2020 in Brazzaville for the fourteenth consecutive time. The State budget for the financial year 2021, set in revenue at the sum of 1,873 billion 957 million CFA francs, and in expenditure at 1,523 billion 387 million CFA francs, was adopted, Friday, December 18, 2020, in a plenary session of the tenth ordinary budgetary session of the National Assembly, chaired by its first Senior Vice-Speaker, Leon Alfred Opimbat.

"Learning from the rejection by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) of the first request for funding of the 2015-2025 Sector Strategy by the SME in 2015, UNESCO has mobilised the international technical expertise needed to support the technical work, putting at the heart of the process the requirement of quality and compliance with the conditionalities for granting the SME grant, particularly for aspects related to the share of the Education Sector budget allocated to primary education which must reach 45%," its Representative, Marega Fatoumata, said.

A plenary session of the budget session was held at the National Assembly on Wednesday 16 December 2020, under the leadership of its First Vice-President, Léon Alfred Opimbat, in the presence of the Minister Delegate for the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé.

The signing ceremony of the Bilateral Agreement between the Republic of Congo and France within the framework of the Debt Service Suspension Initiative (ISSD) took place on Tuesday 15 December 2020 in Brazzaville. The solemn act was performed on the Congolese side by the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, accompanied by his colleague in charge of the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, and on the French side by his Ambassador, François Barateau.

The Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, and his colleague in charge of the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, on Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Brazzaville, met with a delegation of the World Bank led by Abdoulaye Seck, Director of Operations of this financial institution in Congo, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

Wednesday 25 November 2020 in the Congolese capital, representatives of banks and microfinance institutions, justice and civil society actors working in the field of consumer rights, coaches and students in economics at the University Marien Ngouabi and the leaders of the Chamber of Commerce of Brazzaville agreed to set up, in the coming days, a financial mediation body to propose an amicable and non-coercive settlement of financial disputes.
